2015 BMW M5 30 Jahre Sedan

BMW celebrated the 30th anniversary of the M5 sports sedan with a tuned special edition with just 300 examples offered to the American public. The owners were chosen exclusively through a social media lottery. Successful purchasers were invited to a private BMW driving school to fully learn and appreciate the extraordinary capabilities of this special car.

The engine was tuned to produce 32 additional horsepower over the BMW's standard M5, and 17 horsepower over a similarly equipped Competition Package M5. Additional refinements included the anniversary car's M-Dynamic mode and M-specific Servotronic feature. Zero-to-sixty mph was accomplished in 3.7 seconds.

This special-edition 5 Series were finished in the BMW Individual shade of Frozen Dark Silver Metallic and are visually distinguished by '30 Jahre M5' exterior badging and sill plates. They rode on 20-inch alloy wheels which were offset in black chrome, which was also used on the tailpipes, side vents, and kidney grille.

This particular example was optioned with Bang & Olufsen sound system, and M carbon ceramic brakes. It currently has 520 miles on its odometer.
