1993 Porsche 964 Carrera RS Navigation
This Porsche 964 Carrera RS 3.8 is finished in Speed Yellow (code X4), one of just 12 examples finished in this color and one of two ordered with bucket seats painted black, trimmed in black leatherette with contrasting tri-tone gray panels. Options include H4 headlights, reduced radio preparation, and a 40/40 locking differential. This RS was purchased without an ECE regulations sticker or identification plate.
The engine is a 3,746cc type M64/04 single-overhead-cam air-cooled flat 6-cylinder engine fitted with a Bosch Motronic 2.1 Electronic fuel injection system. There is a five-speed manual transaxle with limited-slip differential and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.
This Porsche was sold new through Mizwa Motors of Tokyo and delivered to its first owner, Shin Okamoto of Japan, on September 7th of 1993. It remained in Mr. Okamoto's care until 2017, when it was discovered by Prescott Kelly and a brokered a sale to Jan Koum.
