This BMW Z8 is one of 2,543 units produced for the United States. It has a six-speed manual transmission and a 32-valve DOHC V8 engine fitted with a Bosch Motorinic fuel injection system and produces 400 horsepower.
BMW Z8 Roadster was completed at the Munich based Bayerische Motoren Werke in May of 2001. It was built for the United States market and was finished in Topaz Blue Metallic and trimmed in Black. It is one of 135 Z8's finished in this livery. Later in May of 2001, the new Z8 came to Newark, NJ and was sold to its first owner shortly thereafter. It is believed that the car remained in the North East until 2013, when it was sold from Cleveland, Ohio based car dealer, Marshall Goldman, with just over 2,000 miles on the odometer.
The car is currently in the care of a Southern California based individual who had acquired the Z8 in 2013, with less than 2,100 miles on the odometer. Currently it has fewer than 5,400 original miles.By Daniel Vaughan | Oct 2019
