2008 Bentley Arnage Sedan

Bentley Motors unveiled the new Arnage in April 1998 at Le Sarthe circuit, home of the Le Mans 24-Hour Race. Bentley and parent company Rolls-Royce Motors were in collaboration with BMW, and the Arnage was the first Bentley to employ the Munich firm's engine technology, an all-new 4.4-liter 32-valve twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The Arnage R version appeared in March of 2002 at the Geneva Salon. In place of the single Garrett T4 turbocharger was a pair of smaller T3s offering superior throttle response and higher catalytic converter temperatures for reduced emissions.

This particular Bentley Arnage R Concours Edition is one of 40 hand-built examples produced at the Crewe Bentley works for the worldwide market in its sole year of production, 2008. It is finished in Moonbeam Silver and currently has under 18,500 original miles from new. The interior has hand-stitched full-leather in Porpoise Grey, including seats, dashboard, vertical and lower console, door panels, roof liner and more. There are Bentley embroidered Concours Edition head rests and bespoke Bentley high finish aluminum wheels. It was fitted with the $3,600 optional retractable Bentley Flying B Hood ornament and Concours-Edition Bentley picnic equipment including place settings, hand carved crystal, and four matching Bentley umbrellas.
