1967 HWM Jaguar Special Navigation
This Jaguar-HWM Special is a recreation of the HWM 'Scragg Jag.' It was commissioned by Barry Gurdler and built by the Tempero Coachbuilding Firm of Omaru, New Zealand. It has the 1950s racecar style with a more powerful 4.2-liter Jaguar 'XK' DOHC engine backed by an overdrive gearbox from a Jaguar 420 donor car. The engine is equipped with triple carburetors and inboard four-wheel disc brakes provide the stopping power. The cockpit features an engine-turned dash panel, comprehensive instrumentation, finely trimmed leather upholstery, racing harnesses, and a wood-rimmed, and three-spoke steering wheel.
