1985 Lancia Delta S4 Hatchback Sedan

The FIA Group B World Rally Championship ran from 1982 to 1986 and featured some of the most powerful and sophisticated rally cars ever built. Drivers raced on extreme terrains that included desert roads, mountain passes, and snow-covered woodland. Lancia's entry was the Delta S4 which had a tubular space frame clothed in lightweight composite bodywork. The 1.8-liter engine was supercharged and turbocharged and offered over 500 horsepower. Zero-to-sixty mph was accomplished in approximately two seconds.

This particular example is a Stradale that was completed in 1985. It was imported into the United Kingdom in early 1989 and sold with delivery miles by Lancia-Abarth. After 16 years, it was sold in 2005 to Michael Owen Perry, also of the U.K., with just 690 km on the odometer. By 2008, the car was advertised for sale via Walkers Garage in North Yorkshire, displaying just 789 km. It was then purchased by Guido Bortolani, and in 2009 it entered Lucia Ragnoli's Italian race car collection. The current owner purchased it in December of 2013 with 978 km on the odometer.

Currently, it has less than 2,500 km on the odometer and is in unrestored condition.
