1934 Lancia Astura Gran Sport Torpédo

  • Coachwork by Viotti
  • Chassis Number: 33-5116
  • Engine Number: 388
  • Registration Number: XBV 891
This particular Lancia Astura rests on the short-wheelbase platform and is believed to have been delivered new to a customer residing in the Netherlands. It is one of six four-seat Gran Sport Torpedo coachwork designed and built by Viotti. Previous owners include the Louwman Collection in the Netherlands, Count Vittorio Zanon of Torino, and Giuseppe Bosio of Brescia, Italy. Christoph Ringier of Switzerland acquired it in 2012, and the current owner purchased it in 2016.

Mr. Ringier had the car treated to a cost-no-object restoration. The car currently retains its original body, chassis, engine, gearbox, and other major mechanical components. It was given a bare-metal two-tone respray in sage and dark green.
