1977 Aston Martin V8 Navigation
This Aston Martin V8 Vantage is powered by a 380 horsepower engine backed by a five-speed manual gearbox and kept in the driver's control by four-wheel disc brakes. It is believed that this is the 13th of the 16 bolt-on fliptail cars. It left the factory finished in Storm Red, trimmed with black leather interior, and distributed in September 1977 to UK-based agent and Le Mans racer Robin Hamilton. Two months later it entered the care of its first private owner, Rex Broughton. Around 1986, it was put into a climate-controlled garage where it remained for the next twelve years. A re-freshening was commissioned in late 1998 and by early December it was sold to Martin Daly of Derbyshire. In April of 2008 it was acquired by the current Switzerland-based owner.
