1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Hatchback Coupe

Peugeot's Group B entry arrived in mid-1984, but despite its late entry, the 205 T16 won 16 races in the World Rally Championships as well as two constructors' tiles and two drivers' championships. Its accomplishments and racing successes made it the most successful of all the Group B cars.

This particular 205 T16 is powered by a 1,775cc dual overhead cam inline four-cylinder engine fitted with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system and a single KKK turbocharger. The engine is backed by a five-speed manual transaxle driving all four wheels, and disc brakes provides the stopping power.

The original owner of this 205 T16 was an Italian Peugeot dealer who acquired it in 1984, later becoming part of his race car collection. When the collection was dismantled in late 2011, the car was acquired by the current caretaker with just 6,800 km on the odometer. The car had been painted white, but its current owner gave it a bare-metal respray, returning it to its original gray metallic livery.

This car has less than 12,000 km on the odometer.
