1906 Cadillac Model K Navigation
This Cadillac Model K Victoria Runabout was completed on June 2nd of 1906 and shipped to Foss Hughes Motor Car Company, the Philadelphia dealer. By the 1980s it was a part of the Harrah Collection at Reno and it does not seem to have been part of the dispersal sales. In 1998 it was acquired by the Merrick Auto Museum from Walter Cox of Naples, Texas.
This Cadillac has been given a 1,100-hour-plus restoration and appears in a similar fashion to what it did when new. It has a maroon body but with pinstriping of gold and black, versus the original carmine. The black buttoned leather seating is original, with new stuffing, and matches the black Victoria top. There are Rushmore acetylene headlamps and brass kerosene side and taillamps. The undercarriage and wheels are finished in crimson with all-white tires.By Daniel Vaughan | Jan 2020
