1936 Packard One Twenty Convertible Coupe

The Packard One Twenty series was upgraded in 1936 to the 120-B specification. The One Twenty had been instrumental in saving the Depression-strict Packard Motor Company from near obviation and providing necessary cash flow. The 120-B was introduced in September of 1935 and came with a larger 282 cubic-inch straight engine along with a host of other refinements, such as a new cellular radiator, accelerator linkage, shift mechanism, and coil springs. The most expensive body style was the convertible sedan which sold for $1,395, compared to the standard business coupe at $990. Other body styles offered included the sport coupe, touring coupe, sedan, touring sedan, and the convertible coupe with rumble seat.

This particular example is a convertible coupe finished in classic cream paint over a fresh dark tan leather interior. It has the rumble seat, Goddess of Speed radiator mascot, and an optional clock. It has wide whitewall tires, factory wheel covers, and a fold-up luggage rack.
