1908 Mier Model A Runabout

This Mier Model A Runabout was owned by Jerry Cammisano of Kansas City, Missouri, and given a restoration in the late 1990s. It is finished in green with yellow pinstriping. The five-leaf full-elliptic springs, and hickory-spoke wheels (32 inches in the front and 34 inches at the rear) give the vehicle 16 inches of road clearance. Solid rubber tires are located on all four corners. Under the hood in the front is an upright powerplant, an unconventional setup to many of the other high-wheelers of the era, which used under-floor engines. The seats are upholstered in diamond-pattern buttoned black leather.
