This Elcar Model E Cloverleaf Roadster is powered by a 35-horsepower Lycoming DXU L-head four-cylinder engine driving through a dry-plate clutch to a three-speed sliding-gear transmission. There is a Dyneto two-unit system used for starting and lighting. The engine has Delco automatic spark advance and the car rides on cream wood artillery wheels mounted with Delco automatic spark advance.

This Model E was acquired by the Merrick Auto museum from Terry Trudell of Ortonville, Michigan, in 2006. It is finished in red with black fenders and has brown buttoned-leather seats. Front passengers have individual semi-bucket seating, with a narrow pass-through to the wide rear seat. There is a full black canvas touring top.
