1908 CarterCar Model D Navigation
This Cartercar Model D Roadster was previously in the care of Joe and Bonita Goss of Indiana. It was acquired by the Merrick Auto Museum in 2006 and is one of just two dozen known to survive. It is finished in dark green with white pinstriping, and has a dark red chassis with similar accents. There are brass Rushmore Searchlight headlamps and Corcoran brass side and taillamps. There is a Rushmore carbide generator on the left side of the seat. The seats are finished in diamond-pattern buttoned black leather and there is a folding black canvas cape top.By Daniel Vaughan | Jan 2020
