    1983 Mazda RX-7 GTU Navigation
This car was originally built by Dave Kent as the 1979 #79 car for Bob Bergstrom. The car finished second in the GTU championship that season.

It was sold and then repurchased by Kent Racing to compete in the 1981 24 Hours of Daytona. Lee Mueller won the 1981 IMSA GTU championship in it.

In 1982 the car was painted white and competed as the #98 team car. In 1983, the car won its class at the Daytona event and was used in Firestone ads as it had raced on street radials.

It was purchased for the first time by the current owners in 1984 but then sold to Dick Greer, who ran it in IMSA until it was mothballed in the late 1980s.

The car was reacquired in 2017 completely disassembled, repaired and restored to its 1983 livery.
