Three victories and three pole positions launched Team Penske's Juan Pablo Montoya and Dane Cameron to the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship title with this 213.6 cubic-inch turbocharged V-6 Daytona Prototype international coupe. Cameron snagged poles at Sebring and Road America while Montoya was the fastest in qualifying on Belle Isle in Detroit.

The versatility and ruggedness of the Acura engine and chassis combination and of co-champions Montoya and Cameron saw Team Penske's 2019 IMSA WeatherTech Champs win on the tight street circuit at Belle Isle, Detroit, Road America's sweeping natural terrain road course and Sebring's harsh and classic airport circuit where much of the ancient and inhospitable pavement dates to the 3.7 mile airport circuit's WWII days as a B-17 bomber training base.
