1980 Rolls-Royce Corniche Navigation
Mr. Dean Edmonds acquired this Corniche in June of 1982, with period British registration stating that it had originally been acquired by His Royal highness, The Sultan of Brunei. After Mr. Edmonds acquired this U.K. specification vehicle, it was brought to the United States. Since Mr. Edmonds traveled to the U.K. almost every year with his wife, the car returned to the U.K in 1987 and for the next three decades it was maintained, stored and serviced by Jack Barclay Ltd. while being available for his use.
The car ultimately returned to the U.S. and to Florida where it was maintained by Manfred's Automobile Specialties Inc. in Naples.
This unrestored car has been driven 31,000 miles from new. It is powered by a 6,750cc overhead valve V8 engine fitted with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system. There is a three-speed GM Automatic transmission and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.By Daniel Vaughan | Apr 2020
