1951 Allard K2 Navigation
This 1951 Allard K2 Roadster was dispatched to North America without a motor and in a left-hand-drive configuration. The first customer was listed as R/P Imported Motors in New York, which handled Allard imports on the east coast along with Overseas Equipment Corporation. Early in its life, it received the current Rocket 88 engine and automatic transmission. It is believed that only five K2s were fitted with Oldsmobile engines.
The current owner of North Carolina acquired this car two decades ago. It wears GM color code cream white, has four-wheel drum brakes, a three-speed automatic transmission, independent front suspension, and a 303 cubic-inch overhead valve Oldsmobile V8 engine.By Daniel Vaughan | May 2020
