1954 Austin-Healey 100-4 BN1 Navigation
This left-hand-drive Austin-Healey 100-4 BN1 was completed at the Austin-Healey works in August of 1954 and finished in Old English White over a red interior, trim, and weather equipment. It was fitted with Smiths' miles-per-hour speedometer, Fahrenheit gauges, 12-volt electrics, 590x15 wheels and tires, an 8.33:1 rear axle ratio, and SU-type H4 carburetors.
The car was sold new in San Francisco, California, and was owned by Mr. William P. Ceasari of Piedmont, California from 1966 until 1974. The next owner, Mr. Gary Oats of Sacramento, CA owned the car from 1974 until 2015 when it was acquired by its current Sacramento, California-based owner.
The car has its original chassis, bodywork, engine, and transmission. It received a concours-quality restoration by the current owner and completed in 2019 including an engine rebuild with new high-compression pistons and a performance cam installed to 100M LeMans specifications. Other 100M upgrades included the gold-faced 140mph speedometer, louvered hood, carburetors, and cold air intake box.
