1933 Cadillac Series 370-C Twelve Town Sedan

Cadillac's modern appearance continued to evolve during the early 1930s, distancing itself for the almost carriage-like appearance of the prior Cadillac designs. They became more streamlined and both Cadillac and their companion LaSalle received modern skirted fenders, more swept-back windshields, and vee'd radiators. New 'No-Draft' ventilation in the form of vent wing windows was introduced, and roll-up windows were now commonplace.

Caddilac sold a mere 6,655 cars among four different models for 1933, including 953 V-12s and 126 V-16s, the marque's lowest output of the decade, and a testament to the economic conditions of the era.

The V-12 models, introduced in 1931, were priced about $700 more than the comparable eight-cylinder models. The Twelve offered similar performance to the big Sixteen, with strong torque and a similar top speed of 80+ mph. The town sedan was offered in both V-8 and V-12 versions, both on the 140-inch wheelbase with bodies by Fisher.

This particular example has been given a restoration to its original configuration and it received its AACA First Junior in 2012 and its Senior award in 2013 along with its CCCA Premier First Place award in 2013.
