2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition Cabriolet

The creation of the Rennsport Reunion involves former factory Porsche racer Brian Redman and Porsche Cars North America who developed the idea for a gathering of Porsche enthusiasts to celebrate the brand's competition cars. In celebration of Rennsport Reunion V held at California's Laguna Seca raceway, Porsche introduced a limited-production model of its 911 Carrera GTS Coupe. Twenty-five examples were built and they were quickly purchased by collectors and enthusiasts. All 24 were finished in special Fashion Grey paint with black and red stripes on the doors, roof, hood, and rear deck lid. They rode on Gloss Black 20-inch Sport Classic wheels and were powered by a 3.8-liter flat 6-cylinder engine delivering 430 horsepower. The interior was done in black with both leather and Alcantara surfaces, accented by Rennsport Reunion Edition carbon fiber trim, sill plates, and contrasting Carmine Red stitching. Other features included a Bosc audio package, a rear ParkAssist, PASM sports suspension, and 18-way adaptive sport seats.

The 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition came exclusively with a manual seven-speed transmission and could achieve 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 190 mph.
