This De Tomaso Pantera 90 Si was completed at the factory in June of 1991. When it left the factory it was finished in Metallic Black over gray color scheme and fitted with a special Maserati clock, Sony stereo, and Group 4 racing seats. Upon completion, it was shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of 1991 and after the show, it returned to Italy and remained in the factory's possession until October of 1993, when it was sold to Dutch dealer Hessing's Autobedrijven BV.
The car's first owner was C.A.D. Dijkhuis who purchased it in November of 1994 and drove it sparingly over the next two decades, adding just a few hundred kilometers on the odometer before place it in static storage, where it remained until his death. A US-based collector became the next owner after purchasing it from the estate of the original owner in 2019.
Currently, the car has fewer than 50 kilometers on the odometer. The engine is a 302 cubic-inch, overhead-valve Ford V8 fitted with electronic fuel injection and delivering 305 horsepower at 5,000 RPM. There is a five-speed ZF manual transaxle with Limited-Slip differential, Brembo Ventilated disc brakes, and an independent suspension.By Daniel Vaughan | Jul 2020
