In Chrysler's second full year of production, it introduced a luxury vehicle, the Imperial, a car that was to be its flagship for more than 60 years. This example was found by a previous owner in Massachusetts in 1953 with 12,000 miles on it. The car now sports 24,000 miles. The paint, interior, and top are original to the car. The nickel was re-plated in 1955. This car has a 7-main bearing engine developing 92 horsepower at 3,200 RPMs. Hydraulic brakes, backup lights, wind wings, a double mirror, and a cigar lighter are all standard features of this car.
