In 2014, the current owners acquired this Fiat totally disassembled in New Jersey. They fully restored the Jolly into the beautiful example that it is today. The current caretakers are just the second to own this car, with chassis, body, and engine original to the vehicle.
When Giovanni Agnelli, whose family ran the Fiat company, pulled into a marina on his yacht, he realized he had nothing suitable to drive around. he turned to his company for a solution. Coachbuilder Ghia presented him with a Jolly 500, which had no roof or doors. It featured wicker seats to accommodate salty and sandy occupants, and it was small enough to be loaded onto a yacht. Fiat decided to produce this Marina Cruiser and produced approximately 650 Jollys from 1958 through 1969.
