1953 Buick Series 70 Roadmaster Navigation
The Buick Skylark was introduced in 1952 at the General Motors Motorama and the production version followed a year later along with the Oldsmobile Fiesta and Cadillac Eldorado. Celebrating Buick's 50th anniversary, the Skylark was essentially customized and hand-built for each new owner. With a price tag of $5,000, production remained exclusive with just 1,690 units built.
The Skylark remained a limited-production model for 1954 and the name would reappear in subsequent decades.
