1992 Ferrari F40 Navigation
This Ferrari F40 is one of the final examples built at Maranello and one of just sixty examples constructed for the United States market during the 1992 model year. It was assembled in February of 1992 and delivered new in April of 1992 to Ferrari of Houston, Texas wearing the standard livery of Rosso Corsa over a Stoffa Vignona cockpit. It was acquired by Herb Korthoff, of Park City, Utah on April 8th of 1993. In 2000, the car was offered for sale at Shelton Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Florida with 398 miles on the odometer. It was later acquired by Derek Woods of Cape Coral, Florida, and displayed at the 13th Cavallino Classic in January of 2004.
By 2010, the car was in the care of Christopher Vecillio in West Palm Beach, Florida. It is believed to have been acquired from Shelton Ferrari in 2008 and at the time had 2,800 miles on the odometer. Vecillio displayed the F40 at the 19th Cavallino Classic in January 2010, where it scored over 97 points and earned a Platinum Award in the Supercar Class.
The car currently has 3,304 miles. It has the proper U.S. manuals, tools, two keys, and Ferrari Classiche Red Book circa 2010.By Daniel Vaughan | Jun 2021
