1947 Lancia Aprilia Cabriolet

This Lancia Aprilia Cabriolet by Pinin Farina is one of ten examples to wear this coachwork. It was delivered new to Switzerland and first registered in January of 1947. It was later discovered several decades later in a state of disrepair outside of a Swiss barn. A faithful restoration by a leading Lancia specialist soon followed. Although no records of the restoration exist, the work reportedly took over five years to complete.

In 2014, the car was sold to a resident of Walgau, Germany, with whom it remained until acquisition by the current caretaker in July 2018. The car is finished in its factory-correct color combination of white over dark red leather. There is a convertible top finished in navy blue and, when not in use, is secured below a dark red boot cover.
