2016 Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 Navigation
Jaguar built 250 examples of the Project 7, having first seen the light of day as a single-seater concept car shown at Goodwood. Its favorable reception led to the production of a more practical two-seater production version. They soon sold out, with 80 assigned to customers in the United Kingdom. The 'Project 7' designation referenced Jaguar's seven Le Mans wins, while the 'Aero Haunch' behind the driver's head was an obvious nod towards the D-Type sports-racer responsible for three of those victories.
The Project 7 has all-aluminum bodywork, a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, and shallow-screen Barchetta coachwork. With its 567 horsepower engine, the Project 7 produced 25 more horsepower than the F-Type R. Zero-to-sixty mph is accomplished in 3.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph.
This particular example has fewer than 750 miles on its odometer, all accrued under the care of its sole owner. It is finished in British racing green with a black quilted leather interior.By Daniel Vaughan | Jul 2021
