1910 Buick Model F Navigation
Scottish-born David Dunbar Buick produced his first car in 1904. He devised an advanced design for the engine, placing the valves into the cylinder head opposite the pistons. This proved to be an efficient and quiet design for the time. Buick quickly earned a reputation for building fine automobiles and established themselves as a major player in the industry.
This particular example represents the final year of production for the Model F. It was used by General Motors in 1935 for a special Anniversary celebration in Flint, Michigan as a prime example of one of the first cars built by GM. At the time, it was mistakenly referred to as a 1906 model. It remained in its original unrestored condition for over 30 years. The previous owner performed a full restoration returning it to exactly as it was when new.
