1929 Studebaker President Eight Navigation
This FE version has the longer 135-inch wheelbase, while an FH version was nearly 10 inches shorter. The engine was designed by Barney Roos, head of engineering for Studebaker. The engine is a 337 cubic-inch straight-eight that produces 115 horsepower. New features for 1929 included upgraded brakes, a revised induction system, a safety glass windshield, and a double drop frame. This frame design allowed for a lower floor for easier entry without reducing road clearance.
