1983 Lincoln Continental Mark VI Navigation
Special Editions were the order of the day in the late 1970s and 1980s. For Lincoln, there would be a wide variety of offerings including the Emilio Pucci Designer Series. With the Designer Series debuting in 1976, Lincoln had dialed in the approach by teaming with several well-known and respected fashion designers. By 1983 there was the Bill Blass Edition coupe and the Emilio Pucci Edition sedan (a Pucci edition coupe would follow in mid-year).
The body of this Pucci edition is wrapped in Blue Flannel Mist paint, and the carriage roof is covered in Dark Blue Cambria Cloth. It has distinctive silver metallic striping along the body side and deck lid, and the designer's logo is found on the fenders and trunk lid. Pucci's signature is affixed to the rear quarter windows, and it rides on cast Turbine spoke aluminum wheels.
