1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Navigation
This car is the last of 62 M491 'Turbo Look' Carrera Coupes imported into the United States in 1987. Furthermore, it is the last of eight M470 'Spoiler Delete' optioned examples. It is one of four paint-to-sample cars from that group. It is finished in Gemini Blue Metallic, a historic shade from Porsche's early 1970s color palette. The M491 option combined the range-topping 911 Turbo's: chassis, flared bodywork, front and rear spoilers, wheels, tires, brakes, and suspension with the standard Carrera's 217 horsepower, naturally aspirated 3.2-liter motor, and five-speed transmission. The vehicle was featured in the Porsche Club of America's Rennsport Reunion VI timeline display and in the November of 2020 issue of Porsche Panorama magazine.
