    1992 Venturi 400 Trophy Navigation
Venturi, the upstart French sports car manufacturer which had shocked the world with its Ferrari-fighting 200 and 260 models, threw its hat into the booming Supercar ring of the early 1990s with the 400 Trophy. Explosive performance came as a result of its racing intentions; weighing only 2,425 pounds and making a conservatively rated 408 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged, 2.9-liter, six-cylinder engine. The 400 Trophy began its racing career in the one-make Trophy series but was quickly adapted to use in the BPR Global GT, where it fought with great success against Porsche 3.8 RSRs, Ferrari F40 GTs, Lotus Esprit Sport 300s, and other highly evolved race cars.

This example has remained in highly original condition and has competed extensively in historic racing.
