1932 Chrysler Series CG Navigation
The Chrysler Corporation was founded by Walter Chrysler in 1925 from the remains of the Maxwell Motor Company. In 1930, Chrysler introduced the Series CG Imperial built on a 145-inch wheelbase and with a completely new appearance. Behind the wheelbase and with a completely new appearance. Behind the grille was a long hood and gently flowing fenders. Just nine Chrysler Imperial LeBaron Roadsters were built in 1932 out of a total of nearly 32,000 Chryslers from that year and each one is different.
This one-off roadster by LeBaron on the 8-cylinder Chrysler Imperial chassis was first owned by a Dr. Whelan between 1963 and 1961. Its current owner acquired it in 2001 and has maintained its originality ever since.
LeBaron designed some of the most attractive bodies during the early 1930s, making this one of the most exciting cars of its time.
