1992 Ferrari F40 Navigation
This Ferrari F40 was a U.S.-destined car built at the Maranello Ferrari works during February and March of 1992. Completed on March 19th of 1992, this F40 was the 202nd of a total of just 213 U.S. versions built. Its 2,936cc dual overhead camshaft twin-turbocharged V8 engine has an electronic fuel injection system helping to produce 478 horsepower at 7,000 RPM. There is a five-speed manual transmission, large vented four-wheel disc brakes, and an independent suspension. It was equipped with air conditioning, Ferrari Scuderia fender shields, Ferrari-stamped alloy wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires.
This Ferrari F40 was delivered new to Giuseppe Risi's Ferrari in Houston, Texas and was sold new to Paul Arthur Frame, Jr.
The timing belts were replaced at 15,800 miles including tensioner bearings, cam shaft seals and O-rings. The current owner had a U.S. Catalytic Converter and correct new-old-stock, IHI Turbos installed in 2020. The factory-supplied fabric was used to re-upholstery the interior. Tappezzeria Luppi in Modena cut and sewed all 38 pieces of interior fabric for installation along with new seat upholstery.
