1972 Aston Martin DBS V8 Navigation
This Aston Martin DBS V8 chassis is the 204th example built. It was ordered new in Canada through Grand Touring Automobiles for Applewood Motors Ltd in Ontario and left the factory finished in Yeoman Red over Black leather. It was optioned with Coolaire air conditioning, automatic transmission, dual head rests, Waso steering lock, and Fiam horns. The 5,340cc dual overhead camshaft V8 engine is fitted with fuel injection (it is believed there was a change from carburetion to fuel injection at some point in this vehicle's existence) and delivers 310 horsepower at 5,600 RPM. There is a three-speed automatic transmission, disc brakes at all four corners, and an independent suspension. The car was finished in the winter of 1972 and its early history remains a mystery. By June of 2001, it was acquired by Vincent Burgos Jr. in the Bay Area who kept it until 2010, when it was purchased that June by its current caretaker.By Daniel Vaughan | Oct 2021
