1972 Lola T290 Sports Roadster

Lola T290 chassis number HU27 was raced with great success during the mid-and-late 1970s at major North American circuits. Driven by Warren Purdy, Tim Evans and Carl Thompson, HU27 took many podiums and outright victories. In the mid-1990s, the car joined the Judge Diloreto collection who raced it in vintage events for decades.

HU27 is currently powered by a 2-liter dual overhead camshaft Cosworth inline 4-cylinder engine with mechanical fuel injection and delivers an estimated 300 horsepower at 6,400 RPM. There is a five-speed manual transmission, disc brakes, and an independent suspension. The engine has been rebuilt by Bob Slate and has approximately 10 hours of use.
