1962 Facel Vega Facel II Navigation
This 1962 Facel Vega Facel II is equipped with a 383 cubic-inch Chrysler 'Wedge' OHV V8 engine producing 355 horsepower at 4,800 RPM and backed by a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. It has an independent front suspension, a live rear axle, and four-wheel Dunlop Disc brakes. There is a limited-slip differential, power steering, power windows, clear glass, and an HMV radio with an automatic antenna. It rides on Borrani wire wheels and is finished in Tudor Grey with red upholstery. It was the eighth Facel II produced and was built in January of 1962, per order of Hoffman Motors for display at the 1962 New York Auto Show.
By 2002 the Facel had made it into the collection of a Lebanese enthusiast who housed his collection in London. It joined the current owner's collection in 2009 where it has remained in a static display. It is largely original with an older repaint in black.By Daniel Vaughan | Oct 2021
