This Aston Martin DB2 Saloon was ordered new through Wacky Arnolt's dealership in Chicago and was delivered on June 11th of 1953 to its first owner, Joseph Marjob Esq. of Skokie, Illinois. Mr. Marjob had selected the color combination of Moonbeam Grey paired with blue interior and gray piping. As a U.S. specification example, this DB2 was equipped with left-hand drive with Smiths instruments and Dunlop tires.
More recently, the car was discovered in a collector's garage in Wisconsin. It is currently finished in a metallic green with a black interior and rides on whitewall tires. There is a unique rear window treatment and the odometer currently has just over 51,100 miles.By Daniel Vaughan | Nov 2021
