2015 Porsche 918 Weissach Package Spyder

The 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder was capable of sprinting from zero-to-sixty mph in 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 217 mph. The optional $84,000 Weissach package, named after Porsche's R & D facility, reduced weight and lowering the 918's curb mass by nearly 100 pounds, resulting in a six-minute, 57-second lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2013, a record for a production car. Lightweight components included magnesium wheels, ceramic wheel bearings, lighter brakes, and titanium chassis bolts.

Porsche built 294 examples of the 918 Spyder for the U.S. market and approximately 230 models were fitted with the Weissach package. This particular example was sold new in April 2015 through Porsche of Chattanooga in Tennessee and distinguished by a paint-to-sample Metallic Oryx White finish that was covered at the Porsche factory by a Martini-liveried flat black wrap. The exterior is presented over an Onyx Black leather interior with silver piping. Additional optional equipment includes a Burmester Surround Sound system, glare-reducing interior package, and a front-axle lift system.

When new, this 918's window sticker was $1,009,275, inclusive of options. Currently, it has 973 miles on the odometer.
