1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe

  • Designed by Pininfarina
  • Chassis Number: 10181
  • Engine Number: 10181
Ferrari built 460 examples of the Series II 330 GT 2+2 between 1965 and 1967. The 330 GT 2+2 was introduced in 1964 and was initially produced with a twin-headlight design. By mid-1965, the Series II was introduced with a single-headlight redesign and ultimately proved more popular with buyers. Power was couretsy of a 4.0-liter, 2965 horsepower variant of the Colombo V-12.

This 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series II by Pininfarina is the last chassis provided to the United States, and the penultimate chassis serial number registered (the final being number 10193). It was completed at Maranello in July of 1967 and was intended for export to the United States. It was given a Grigio Argento paint scheme over a Nero Franzi interior and equipped with several factory options which included air conditioning, power windows, power steering, and Borrani wire wheels.

This Ferrari was ordered new by James W. Robinson, via Farland-Buell Motors of Denver, Colorado, and delivered on October 6th via Luigi Chinetti Motors to Robinson's Greenwich, Connecticut property.

The car remained with Mr. Robinson from new until 1998 when he sold the car to Denver resident, Bill McAbee. Over his three decades of ownership, Robinson is not recorded having exhibited 10181 even once. Within a year, McAbee sold the car onward to its next Denver custodian, Vance Moorman. Moorman exhibited 10181 several times at events across Colorado between 2000 and 2012. The current caretaker acquired it from Mr. Moorman.

This 330 GT remains highly original and currently wears a recent refinishing in its factory-correct shade of Grigio Argento, while its Nero leather interior retains much of its original charm and patina. The odometer currently shows fewer than 18,400 miles.
