2006 Ford GT Navigation
The Ford GT was a modern homage to the company's racing heritage, celebrating the highly successful GT40 program of the 1960s, which won Le Mans four consecutive years from 1966 to 1969. The GT entered production in 2005 and continued through 2006, during which time 4,033 examples were built.
This Ford GT is one of 69 examples finished in Speed Yellow with full stripes for 2006. It currently has just 254.9 miles on the odometer. The engine is a 5.4-liter dual overhead camshaft V8 equipped with a Lysholm twin-screw supercharger helping to produce 550 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a Ricardo six-speed manual transmission featuring a helical limited-slip differential. Zero-to-sixty mph is accomplished in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph.
