Chassis #: 10918
Sold for $209,000 at 2007 Vintage Motor Cars at Hershey.
This 1910 Winton Model 17 5-Passenger Touring was offered for sale at the Vintage Motor Cars sale at Hershey, PA presented by RM Auctions. It was estimated to sell for $150,000 - $200,000. It was offered without reserve and sold for a high bid of $209,000 including buyer's premium.

It is powered by a six-cylinder L-head engine that displaces 477.1 cubic-inches and produces 48 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual transmission and two-wheel mechanical drum brakes. The Touring body rests on a wheelbase that measures 124-inches and is suspended in place by a solid front axle and a live rear axle. The body is painted dark green with medium green pin striping. The car has deteriorated over time; the paint has chipped and there are many minor blemishes. The top is in good condition considering its age. The plastic rear window has cracked and yellowed. The brass has been well maintained and shows well in modern times. There is a pair of Model 108 Gray & Davis headlights with Winton script and a matching pair of Model 106 Gray & Davis side lights.
