1946 Pontiac Streamliner Navigation
This 1946 Pontiac Streamliner Eight Deluxe Station Wagon has the Deluxe trim upgrade, the higher-priced Eight engine, and was the most expensive Pontiac model in the lineup in 1946, priced at $2,047. This particular example wears a well-preserved older restoration in correct Royal Maroon metallic. Its 249 cubic-inch flathead eight-cylinder engine used Carter dual downdraft carburetors and a three-speed manual column-shift transmission. It has a Super Deluxe radio, electric clock, Venti-Heat air and defrost, chrome exhaust deflector, and whitewall tires.
This Pontiac was discovered in Old Castle, Ontario in 2004. It has remained in a significant private collection in Colorado ever since its 'discovery.' It is believed to have also spent time in a private museum in Maine for many years.By Daniel Vaughan | Feb 2022
