2005 Crawford DP03 Navigation
The Crawford DP03 009 was commissioned by Alex Job in the fall of 2005 for the 2006 24 Hours of Daytona. The first Porsche-powered Crawford was an innovative design that provided immediate results. Winning the pole position for the 2006 24 Hours, '009' was an instant threat. Twice during the 24 Hours axles had to be replaced yet '009' still earned a podium spot with a third-place overall finish. Then '009' went to Homestead Miami Speedway, winning the pole position en route to its first victory. Second at Long Beach followed before showing up at VIR with Ruby Tuesday Sponsorship. That was the race of the season with Mike Rockenfeller taking the lead in the last corner of the final lap in one of the most exciting and electrifying finishes in Grand-Am Daytona Prototype history. It would end the season with seven podium appearances. Some of the top drivers in the world have raced Crawford DP03 009.
