1933 Lincoln Model KB Sport Phaeton

Just nine examples of the Dual Cowl Sport Phaeton were built and each had a price tag of $4,200. The styling incorporated Lincoln's svelte Vee radiator with touring coachwork that was capable of accomodating four passengers. Beneath the long and graceful sloping bonnet was a 448 cubic-inch L-head twelve-cylinder engine fitted with a single Dual-Throat Stromberg carburetor offering around 220 horsepower at 3,800 RPM. It was paired with a three-speed manual transmission and braking was courtesy of four-wheel vacuum-assisted drum brakes.

This Lincoln was once owned by Roy Warshawsky of J.C. Whitney parts supply fame. It was later acquired by the current owner from Jerry Sauls in New Hope, Pennsylvania. While in Mr. Saul's care, it was sent to restorer Fran Roxas for refurbishment work, including a repaint in the original color. The dash, interior, and many other aspects of the vehicle remain original. Mr. Sauls subsequently displayed the car at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2000.
