This is the lowest actual mileage (2,987 current actual miles), unrestored and preserved original condition 1953 Studebaker Commander Regal Starliner Coupe known to exist. It features all-original paint, interior, engine, and glass - even the original B.F. Goodrich Silvertown wide WSW tires. It was produced on September 17th of 153 in South Bend, Indiana, and shipped to Eliason Motors in Hamden, Connecticut. It is believed to have been owned by one individual in Connecticut from 1953 through 1993, and Charles M. Cawley from Wilmington, Delaware, owned the car from 1993 through 2003 before it was donated to the AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The current owner purchased it in 2015.
