This car was originally purchased from Mosher Lally Chevrolet in Bedford, Ohio, on April 11, 1957, by James Freedle. He drove the car to J&L Steele every day for 22 years when the sun was shining. In 1979, the car was sold to Daniel Swalius with 42,330 miles. Swalius resided in Eastlake, Ohio, and was registered until 1984. John Baker, from Hudson, Ohio, found the car with 43,256 miles in 2005 and brought the car back to life with just a simple tune-up, tires, and a good cleaning. In 2021, the car was acquired by the current owner and received fresh fluids, a deep cleaning, a fresh radiator, brake service, and a vow to keep the car running strong for many more miles.
