1968 Bizzarrini 5300 Strada Navigation
This Bizzarrini 5300GT Strada was given a comprehensive two-year restoration by Auto Elite in Tenafly, New Jersey. Its aluminum coachwork initially wore pale yellow paint, that during the restoration was stripped to bare metal by Sportscar Painting in Long Island City, New York, and meticulously refinished in red over a reupholstered black leather interior completed by Hudson Valley Interiors in Nyack, New York. The chrome and brightwork were refinished by Martin's of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and new rubber trim and gaskets were installed throughout. The drivetrain, braking, and suspension components were rebuilt and the 5300GT Strada has been sparingly used since restoration. The Bizzarrini shows approximately 18,000 miles on its odometer which is believed to be original.
The 327 cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 engine has a single four-barrel carburetor and delivers 365 horsepower at 5,800 RPM. There is a four-speed manual transaxle, Dunlop disc brakes, and an independent suspension with coil springs.By Daniel Vaughan | Jun 2022
