1948 Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood Sedan

The 1948 Cadillac represented the brand's first major styling change in the post-war era. Only 52,706 cars were built and this vehicle is one of only 6,561 Sixty Specials produced in 1948. Frank Hershey, then head of the Cadillac Design Studio, worked with his team on this design in the basement of his farmhouse located near GM's Milford Proving Ground since labor troubles had virtually locked the design team out of the corporate studio.
